Resumo

O presente artigo apresenta a evolução histórica da vitimologia desde a Antiguidade e até sua redescoberta no século XX, quando do término da Segunda Guerra Mundial, momento em que o mundo acordou e passou a inibir, mesmo que de forma singela, a ação criminosa desenvolvida por pessoas e grupos que visam à prática de crimes e o desrespeito aos Direitos Humanos. No âmbito nacional são apresentados os artigos que salientam a preocupação dada pelo Estado para com a vítima.

ABSTRACT

This article presents the historical development of victimology since ancient times until its rediscovery in the twentieth century, at the end of World War II, when the world woke up and started to inhibit, even if it is simple, the criminal action developed by people and groups who seek to practice crime and disrespect for human rights. At the national level shows the studies that highlight the attention given by the State for the victim.
